Vintage Finds

I've always loved vintage fashion. I can remeber my Mom's style throughout the years. Boy was it iconic. Standing at 5'7, she was lean with long dark brown hair. She resembled Cher from back in the day. My favorite dress she had was a fuchsia dress with red hearts that belted at the waist. I used to borrow it to wear it to church. I wish I knew the brand so i could find it.

Another piece was a denim dress that buttoned all the way down the front that she wore with knee high boots. Thank you to Anthropologie for having this gorgeous dress that closely resembles her original.

Recently, I found the most gorgeous apron skirt while thrifting. This gorgeous yellow wrap skirt is circa 1960 or 70. It is a bright yellow with an orange polka dot waistband accented with contrasting green grosgrain ribbon. Applique flowers feature embroidered trim. It even has mice! I've been searching for the perfect top to highlight the colors of the skirt but will add the perfect amount of contrast in texture.
Feel free to post a link to a top you think would work.
